Six teams in action Saturday for MCC.

Saturday is another busy day for MCC athletics as they have six teams competing in their respective sports.

The softball team will travel to South Mountain Community College for an ACCAC doubleheader. This will be the second time these two teams have met. In their last doubleheader both teams were able to take a victory as SMCC won 9-8, and MCC won 12-7 in five innings. 

The Lady T-Birds hold an 18-10 record (12-10 ACCAC). SMCC is ranked No. 9 in the country and currently has a 26-7 record (20-4 ACCAC).

This first game will begin at 12:00 p.m. and the second game will begin at 2:00 p.m. Watch both games live by, CLICKING HERE.

The baseball team will host Yavapai College for a conference doubleheader with the first game beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the second game starting at 3:00 p.m.

These games will be the only meeting of the season between these teams. MCC currently has a 15-18 record (3-15 ACCAC). Yavapai College is 14-11 on the year and 9-7 in conference play.

The Lady T-Birds golf team will begin day one of the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational which will finish up Sunday. MCC has won 24 straight ACCAC tournaments.

The women's tennis team will hit the court as they host Highline for a non-conference contest. The Lady T-Birds are 2-7 this season (1-3 ACCAC). This matchup begins at 9:00 a.m.

The men's and women's track and field team will travel to Tucson for the second day of the Willie Williams Classic.
