Women Place 2nd, Men 3rd at George Kyte Classic for Cross Country

Flagstaff, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's and women's cross country teams competed this past weekend at the George Kyte Classic in Flagstaff, AZ.

Leading the way for the women's side was Quin Johnson, who clocked a 17:43 finish in the 2.6 mile race.  As a team, the women finished second.  

On the men's side, it Flynn Fuhrmann leading the Mesa pack with a 24:50 finish in the 4.5 mile race.  As a team, the men finished third.

The next event for the cross country teams will be the Dave Murray Invite on Friday, September 14th in Tucson, AZ.
