Three Set Sweep vs Highland CC Helps #10 Mesa Finish Week Strong

Mesa, AZ - After dropping a tough match last night to South Mountain, the #10 Mesa Thunderbirds volleyball team bounced back with a nice three set sweep of Highland Community College, 25-15, 25-14, 25-10.

The T-Birds went 2-1 this past week, earning a five set victory over Chandler-Gilbert Wednesday night.  Mesa moves to 14-7 overall with a 6-4 conference record.  The T-Birds will face off against two DI opponents this next week, the first against Eastern Arizona at home Wednesday night at 7 pm then they will travel down to Yuma for a match against Arizona Western on Friday night at 7 pm.
