Mesa Volleyball Propels to #15 in National Rankings

The Mesa Thunderbirds volleyball team moved up two spots in the national rankings from 17 to 15.  

The T-Birds won both their matches last week to help move two spots.  They beat the Pima Aztecs in four sets, 25-16, 25-22, 20-25, 25-15.  

Then they swept the Scottsdale Artichokes in straight sets at home, 25-20, 25-21, 25-21.

With the current ranking, this is the highest ranking Mesa has had in over two decades.

The T-Birds will be on the road twice this week, at Chandler-Gilbert at 7 p.m. then at South Mountain on Friday at 7 p.m.
