Women's tennis rolls past Glendale, 9-0
Mesa, AZ – The Mesa women's tennis team returned to ACCAC action Thursday and blanked Glendale, 9-0.
The 15th-ranked T-Birds won all singles matches in straight sets and lost only two games in the three doubles matches.
The victory ran MCC's record to 6-3, with an unblemished, 4-0, conference mark.
Mesa won all three of the top singles matches without losing a game. Ana Villalvazo at No., Sabrina Sanchez at No. 2 and Paige Stanford at No. 3 all won by 6-0, 6-0 scores and Villalvazo and Sanchez combined for an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles.
The T-Birds will go back to action next Tuesday visiting Paradise Valley at 1:30 p.m.
