TYLER, Texas – It was a great day for the Mesa women's tennis team at the NJCAA Division I national championship as MCC won all nine of its matches and advanced to the quarter finals. The wins leave the T-Birds in a three-way tie for first place with ASA-Miami and host Tyler, all with 27 points.  

En route to its great day, un-seeded Mesa players knocked of seeded players three times.
