Women's tennis closes regular season with shutout of Glendale

  MESA, AZ - The Mesa women's tennis team wrapped up its preparations for the Region I tournament by blanking Glendale, 9-0, Tuesday.

  Sydney Madsen (So., Orem, Utah/Perry (AZ) H.S.) took the No. 6 singles match 6-1, 6-0 over K. Romandia and Michelle Fournier (Fr., Chicago. Ill/Saguaro (AZ) H.S.) was victorious at No. 2, 6-3, 6-0, over T. Jones.

  The T-Birds will begin the Region I Tournament Monday, April 27 at Glendale.
