Mesa, AZ -  For the second game in a row, the Mesa Thunderbirds women's soccer team defeated their opponent, 7-0.  This time it was against the Gateway Geckos Saturday night at John D. Riggs Stadium.

Mesa knocked in three goals in the first half and four in the second with Kyla Galdos knocking in two for the T-Birds.  Berkeley Larsen, Alyssa Parsons, Mercedes Serrano, Mayleen Corral and Caitlyn Waller all scored individual goals for Mesa.

Rebekah Norris again recorded a shutout in goal for Mesa, as she made five saves on the night.

The T-Birds move to 2-0 on the season and will be back in action next Thursday afternoon at home against the Glendale Gauchos, beginning at 4:30 pm.
