Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds battle tough against the Pima Aztecs Tuesday night but fell to defeat, 3-0.
The Aztecs scored in the 17th minute of the match and from there on out til the last 20 minutes of play, each team exchanged close goal attempts but neither could manage to net an attempt. However in the 72nd and 78th minutes, the Aztecs connected on their two final goals to finalize the 3-0 victory.
Pima breaks Mesa's three game winning streak and puts the T-Birds at an 8-10-1 overall record. Mesa will play one final game this season on Thursday afternoon at Paradise Valley with a start time of 1:00 pm.
