Poarch, Lynn earn 2nd Team All-ACCAC, Skipper Honorable Mention
The 2015 Women's Soccer All-ACCAC Teams have been announced and Rianna Poarch and Jessica Lynn have earned 2nd Team Honors while Bailey Skipper was an Honorable Mention.
Rianna Poarch- Rianna was a team captain and the unspoken leader of this years Mesa squad. She started 13 matches for the T-Birds on the back line, establishing herself as one of the toughest defenders in the conference. She also led the conference in game winning goals with two, while scoring three all season.
Jessica Lynn- Jessica was also a team captain and the rock in the middle of the offensive attack for the T-Birds. She started all 17 games this year and scored a team high six goals on 21 shots to go along with a team high four assists. Lynn was a major factor in the T-Birds playoff run this year.
Bailey Skipper- Bailey played a utility role for Mesa this year, excelling at whatever position the coaches had her play. A majority of the time, she played along the backrow with Poarch. Skipper showed a toughness and determination that her teammates fed off of.
