Mackenzie Brown's lone goal the difference in victory over South Mountain

Mesa, AZ- It was a much needed win for the Mesa women's soccer team Thursday night as they defeated South Mountain, 1-0.

Mackenzie Brown(Fr., Flagstaff, AZ, Coconino H.S.) scored the only goal of the game, that goal coming in the second half.  For Brown, that is here second goal on the season.

For Mesa, it snaps a six game losing streak and gives them momentum heading into a tough three game road trip to Arizona Western on Saturday, Cochise on Tuesday then Gateway next Friday.  The T-Birds only beat Gateway out of the teams mentioned above, a 6-0 victory on September 1st.
