Three from women's soccer earn all-ACCAC honors
MESA, AZ - Three Mesa women's soccer players were named to the all-ACCAC team today.
Goalkeeper Danielle Torres (So., Yuma, AZ/Kofa H.S.) was placed on the first team, midfielder Morgan Eddy (So., Farmington, NM/Farmington H.S.) was a second team choice and Hannah Kijowski (So., Chandler, AZ/Hamilton H.S.), also a midfielder, was an honorable mention selection.
The T-Birds finished the season 9-6-5, their best record since 2006.
Torres finished with a 1.04 goals against average and recorded six shutouts. She had four shutouts in her freshman season giving her a career total of ten.
Eddy was a first team choice a year ago. She had two goals and three assists this season.
Kijowski was a key midfielder all year and was an important factor in MCC allowing just 24 goals in 20 games.
