The win improves MCC to 4-3-3 while SMCC is 1-10.

As if to be sure the Cougars would be no threat, the T-Birds jumped quickly in the second half with two scores 30 seconds apart in the first three minutes. Jessica Lynn (So., Queen Creek, AZ/Queen Creek H.S.) and Ana Lechner (So., Queen Creek, AZ/Queen Creek H.S.) did the honors.

Rohner completed her hat trick in the 59th minute and Savannah Vossler (Fr., Gilbert, AZ/Gilbert H.S.) closed the scoring with 12 and a half minutes to play.

Megan Barry (So., Chandler, AZ/Chandler H.S.) got the start in goal and recorded the shutout with five saves.
