Voisard finishes third at NJCAA Women's Golf Championship
Daytona Beach, Fla. – It just kept getting better for Madison Voisard.
The Mesa freshman finished third at the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship Thursday, improving from fifth to fourth and finally third, in each round.
Voisard fired a 77-73-76—226 over the LPGA International Hills Course and became the fourth T-Bird to earn first team All-American honors. She is the 16th overall All-American in program history.
Beatriz Conti finished third in two consecutive years, 2001 and 2002. Olivia Campos was second in 2004 and Erin Groeneveld third the same year..
In addition for MCC, Taylor Gransen improved to a tie for 40th in the 127-player field with an 88-86-87—261.
