Voisard finishes regular season unbeaten by capturing Paradise Valley Invitational
Phoenix, AZ – Madison Voisard finished the regular season unbeaten for the Mesa women's golf team by capturing the Paradise Valley Invitational by 18 shots Tuesday.
The freshman from Birmingham, Ala., who went to Arcadia H.S. locally, won all eight events in which she competed, fired a 74-74—148 over the Wildfire G.C. Faldo White layout Monday and Tuesday.
Her streak began at the Arizona Christian Firestorm Fall Invitational where she competed primarily against players from four-year schools and won by six shots.
She teamed with Taylor Gransen, who carded an 82-84—166 to complete their fourth 1-2 finish among the eight tournaments.
As a team, MCC placed third at 427-392—819.
Voisard and Gransen will move on to play in the NJCAA Division I National Championship, May 13-16 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
