Conference winning streak ends as women's golf places third at Estrella Mountain Invitational
Litchfield Park, AZ – Mesa's 83-match conference tournament winning streak came to an end Monday and Tuesday as the T-Birds finished third at the Estrella Mountain Invitational over the Wigwam Resort Blue Course. MCC had not lost an ACCAC tournament since 2007.
Madison Voisard once again took medal honors for the second straight tournament winning individually by 24 shots with a 71-78—149 total. MCC's Taylor Gransen was second, posting an 86-87—173.
Chandler-Gilbert won the event with a 384-385—769. Mesa posted a 438-440—878 total.
MCC hits the links again on March 4-5 at the Scottsdale Invitational which will be played at the Hillcrest G.C, in Sun City, AZ.
