Voisard wins women's medal, men 6th, at Mesa Invitational
Mesa, AZ – Madison Voisard fired a two-over-par 73-73—146 to capture women's medal honors at the Mesa Invitational Sunday and Monday at the Dobson Ranch G.C. The Mesa men placed sixth.
Voisard was 28 shots in the clear in taking the event. Taylor Gransen placed third overall at 91-85—176. MCC did not field a full team.
The MCC men shot a 303-292--595 for sixth place. Dylan Middlemiss tied for 11th place individually, carding a 72-73—145. Tyler Coxworth tied for 23rd place at 77-73—150.
The Mesa women next play Feb. 11-12 at the Estrella Mountain Invitational which will be held at the Wigwam Blue Course in Litchfield Park. The men will see action at the Pima Invitational Feb. 28-29 at the Omni Tucson National G.C., in Tucson.
