Women's golf takes second at all-four-year Firestorm Inv.
Phoenix, AZ – The Mesa women's golf team placed second in a field of all four-year colleges as the Arizona Christian Firestorm Fall invitational played at the Moon Valley C.C. Monday and Tuesday.
The T-Birds posted a 324-311—635 total, trailing only Embry-Riddle, while topping Ottawa, Arizona Christian, Marymount, St. Thomas (Texas) and Benedictine.
Megan Fusak and Haley Kapanicas both carded 76-76--152s to tie for fourth place individually. Taylor Gransen tied for 15th place with an 87-78—165 and Cheyenne Stewart was 18th with an 86-81—167.
That concludes the fall season for MCC.
