Mesa Women's Basketball Fall in Region I Championship Game to Pima, 80-58

Tucson, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds women's basketball team lost Saturday night in the Region I Championship game to the Pima Aztecs, 80-58.

Pima capitalized on Mesa turnovers and though the T-Birds fought hard throughout the whole game, just couldn't claw back from such a big deficit.

The T-Birds finished the season with a 15-17 overall record.
