Leah Goodman Earns 2017-2018 NJCAA All-American Honors
Mesa Thunderbirds women's basketball's, Leah Goodman, has earned NJCAA Third Team All-American honors for her performance during the 2017-2018 season.
Goodman's laser three-point shooting and tough defense helped lead the Lady T-Birds to an NJCAA National Tournament fourth place finish in Harrison, AR, while also helping the team tie the record for a season high in victories with 28.
Leading the team in points per game (13.3), Goodman also led the team in three-point percentage (32.4) as she connected on 106 total three's on the season. Goodman started 33 out of Mesa's 36 games, playing in all 36 throughout the year. She also recorded a 14 steal game at Chandler-Gilbert, setting a school record.
