Mesa, AZ - The #6 Mesa Thunderbirds defeated the Eastern Arizona Gila Monsters Wednesday night, 78-59.
Anessa Glenn finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds while ACCAC DII Player of the Week Diamond Fuller finished with a team high 18 points and eight rebounds.
The T-Birds led from beginning to end against the Gila Monsters as they took a 23 point advantage into halftime, 43-20.
Mesa's defense collected 15 steals on the night, forcing Eastern into 32 total turnovers all together.
With the victory, Mesa moves to 21-5 overall and 16-2 in ACCAC play. The T-Birds will be on the road this Saturday evening at Scottsdale for a 6 pm tip.
