Mesa Lady T-Birds Acquire Another Fuller

The Mesa Lady TBirds have not become less, but in fact fuller, acquiring Mesa Jackrabbit Diamond Fuller (who shares a last name with former MCC player Allies Fuller [no relation], a standout post who was instrumental in MCC's latest appearance in the 2017 NJCAA Division II National Basketball Tournament).
On Monday, April 17, 2017, surrounded by her parents and older brother, Diamond signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the MCC women's basketball program starting next season.
Coached by Brock Landis at Mesa High School, Fuller and her Jackrabbit teammates completed the season with a 17-12 record which saw them finish in the 2017 AZ State Girls Basketball Tournament where they eventually fell to #1 ranked Gilbert High School.
It has been quite some time since the Mesa High girls basketball team was in the state tournament and she was a vital cog in the process as they fought their way forward.
Fuller was a reliable contributor for the Jackrabbits the past four seasons, averaging nearly 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals per game during her time at Mesa High.
She is a versatile player who can defend and play multiple positions, with potential and athleticism yet to be realized.
Coach Kori Stephenson is thrilled that Diamond will be joining the Thunderbird family and looks forward to helping her get stronger, faster, and sharpen her skills while beginning college courses.
Fuller becomes the third signee this year for the 2017-18 season.
