Women's basketball goes for size, signs 6-4 Allies Fuller of Buckeye

  MESA, AZ - The Mesa women's basketball coaching staff added much-needed size with its latest signing for the 2015-16 season, inking 6-4 Allies Fuller, of Buckeye Union H.S.

  Fuller joins the highly-successful MCC program, just one year removed from an NJCAA Division II national championship and winners of at least 20 games for the last seven consecutive seasons.

  Fuller did not play last year, recovering from a torn ACL, but she had been a force for the Hawks previously.

  She averaged 18.7 points two years ago along with 11.6 rebounds.  In her three-year career she averaged 15.7 points and 11.5 rebounds.

  The Mesa coaching staff describes her as "a great kid and a great student who is determined and committed to come back stronger than before. She has been involved in community service for many years and helps mentor special needs children in many different capacities and we are looking forward to her leadership, personality, and example in our program next season"
