Women's basketball All-American Kylie Herd signs with San Diego State

  MESA, AZ - Kylie Herd (So., Phoenix, AZ/Arcadia H.S.), a second team NJCAA Division II All-American, has signed to play at San Diego State next year.

  Herd, who was one of the key members of MCC's 2013-14 national championship squad, and then led the T-Birds to a 20-11 record and spot in the Region I finals, was ACCAC Division II Player of the Year.

  She averaged 10.7 points and 7.5 rebounds during the past season.

  San Diego St. is a member of the NCAA Division I Mountain West Conference and had a 12-19 record this season.

  Herd is the fourth member of MCC's national championship squad to sign with a Division I school.
