Bio

Coach Cook is an Arizona native, she attended Cactus Highschool in Glendale, Arizona then
furthered her education at Grand Canyon University. Coach Cook was a High jump, Long Jump,
and 4x100 meter relay AIA state champion by the time she graduated high school.. She also
holds the Women’s Long Jump Record at Cactus high school since 2014. Cook then continued
her success at Grand Canyon University and has been part of 6 out 8 championship titles with
the Lopes!
Her freshman year she won the women’s High Jump with 1.67m (5-05.75) to win the WAC
Indoor Championships and finished second in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 5.78m
(18-11.75), and then was selected as “Freshman of the Year”. Throughout Cook’s Collegiate
career she was able to obtain the GCU indoor high jump record in 2017 with a jump of 1.69m
(5’6.75) and respectfully holds a personal best mark of 11.52m (37’9) in the triple jump.
In 2018 Coach Cook graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Exercise Science with
an emphasis in Sports Performance and immediately began to build her coaches resume. She
was a Volunteer Coach for Grand Canyon for the Track and Field season of 2018-2019 and
then coached over seas the summer of 2019 in the Netherlands.
