Track and field teams produce 14 All-Americans at NJCCA indoor meet

Pittsburg, Kan. – The Mesa indoor track and field programs added to their ever-growing total of All-Americans at the NJCC championships last weekend.

MCC produced 14 All-Americans, 11 by the women and three for the men.

Records are incomplete and likely missing many others, but the T-Bird men have had 64 indoor All-Americans over the years and the women 48.

Quinn Johnson garnered three of the honors for her second place finish in the mile, fifth place in the 1000-meters and anchor spot on the fifth place distance medley relay.

Reese Young picked up the other individual honor, placing fifth in the pentathlon.

Alexandra Louis and Maggie Orr each grabbed two in relays, one each with the distance medley team that placed eighth and one with the eighth place 4x800 squad. Joining them on the distance medley was Camille Foster. Also, Janae Quihuis and Najillana Hunter ran with the 4x800 team.
