Jaden Encinas and Jadin Placencio sweep the ACCAC DII weekly honors as Encinas earned Player of the Week and Placencio earned Pitcher of the Week.
Player of the Week
Jaden Encinas – Mesa- Went 10-22 (.455) over six games. The sophomore from Volcano Vista H.S. in Albuquerque, N.M. scored seven runs, had four RBI and hit a home run.
Pitcher of the Week
Jadin Placencio – Mesa - The sophomore from Bayard, N.M.'s Cobre H.S. went 1-1 over 11 innings allowing only two earned runs while striking out 11 and walking none.
