Mesa Softball Beats Benedictine JV, 14-6 (6)

Mesa, AZ - It was a strong seven run fourth inning that seperated the T-Birds from the Benedictine JV in Tuesday's win, 14-6 (8).

Mesa used small-ball in that fourth inning to generate baserunners and with a little help from some sloppy Redhawk defense, the T-Birds took full advantage.

Mesa collected 18 total hits on the afternoon with Lindsey Paboucek, Marissa Ibarra-Palomo and Emerald Grijalva each tallying three hits a piece.

The final double to left field by Megan Campbell sealed the deal for Mesa and pushed their overall record 9-6.

Mesa will host Eastern Arizona College on Saturday in a double-header, beginning at noon.
