Mesa, AZ- Mesa softball split a pair of games with DII ACCAC Conference opponent Glendale Saturday, with the Gauchos winning game one, 3-1 and the T-Birds winning game two, 6-5.
The T-Birds had an oppurtunity to tie in game in the bottom of the fifth with Valeria Macias at the plate and Kayla Bradford on third but the T-Birds couldn't punch in the runs they needed.
With the win in game two, Mesa moves to 11-16 overall and 8-14 in the ACCAC. Mesa will be at South Mountain on Tuesday afternoon then back home on Saturday against Phoenix College.
