PHOENIX, AZ - The Mesa softball team completed a sweep of its season series with GateWay by taking two on the road.
After winning a pair of close games at home earlier in the year, the T-Birds exploded for wins of 10-1 in six innings and 15-0 in five Saturday.
Mesa combined for 30 total hits, 13 of which went for extra bases.
Meggan Horn(So., Flagstaff, AZ, Coconino H.S.) had five hits and five rbi's for the T-Birds as they easily handled Gateway on their home field.
Mesa will continue their road games this coming week when they play at Chandler-Gilbert on Tuesday and then off to Scottsdale on Saturday.
