Mesa, AZ-After an emotionless loss to Paradise Valley in game one of a double header, Mesa bounced right back and won game two, 4-3.
Mariah Gonzales(So., Gilbert, AZ, Highland H.S.) came through for the T-Birds in the bottom of the seventh inning with a line drive single to score the winning run for Mesa.
Mesa jumped out to a 3-0 lead, with back to back RBI's from Kayla Bradford(Fr., St. David, AZ, St. David H.S.) and Meggan Horn(So., Flagstaff, AZ, Coconino H.S.).
Silly errors by the T-Birds helped Paradise Valley to get back into the game but with the seventh inning RBI from Gonzales helped Mesa move to 13-21 on the season.
The T-Birds will be back at work tomorrow afternoon at home against Centralia, first pitch at 1 pm.
