Men's tennis sending three to NCAA scholarship programs

  Mesa, AZ – Three Mesa men's tennis players are headed to NCAA Division I or II schools It was announced Tuesday.

  The three,  Johan Prinsen, Kyryll Kryvchun and Jorge Sala, led MCC to its fifth consecutive NJCAA Region I, DI championship last spring and a ninth place finish at the NJCAA Division I national championship.

  Two of the three will be re-united with former T-Bird coaches. Kryvchun will be headed to Boise State, where Ali Borhani, Mesa's previous coach, has joined the staff as an assistant coach. Sala will re-join former MCC coach Adam Cohen at the University of Texas-Tyler, a Division II school. Prinsen will be headed to Division I Idaho State.
