No. 12 men's tennis blanks Pima, 9-0; women fall to Aztecs

  Mesa, AZ – The 12^th-ranked men's tennis team picked up another ACCAC victory Thursday with a 9-0 win over Pima at the MCC courts.  The T-Bird women fell to the Aztecs, 8-1. The victory was Mesa's 30th consecutive conference win.

  The bottom of the singles lineup came up big for MCC with No. 5 Lucas Severno scoring a 6-0, 6-0 win over Jonathan Wu and No. 6 Jeff Martin also taking a 6-0, 6-0 win against Beau Boyer.

  In addition, Gergo Rendek, ranked No. 11 in the nation in singles won the No. 2 match over Francisco Sotelo, 6-0, 6-1.

  The T-Birds play their final conference match of the season on April 10 at Glendale.

  The women will host the Matadors on the same day and play at Eastern Arizona next Tuesday.
