Men's tennis gets easy sweep at San Diego Mesa, 9-0
San Diego, Calif. – The Mesa men's tennis team scored an easy, 9-0, victory in its first competition against a two-year opponent with a win at San Diego Mesa Saturday.
The T-Birds surrendered only a total of five games in singles competition even though they played without No. 1 Gergo Rendek who was injured in a match last weekend in New Mexico.
MCC's top three singes players Saturday all scored 6-0, 6-0 victories. Artur Eztberger at No. 1, Lucas Severo at No. 2 and Yoahnn Prinsen at No. 3 were all easy winners.
The T-Birds will return to California this weekend for three matches, playing at Cerritos Thursday, Irvine Valley Friday and Concordia Saturday.
