Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds men's soccer team shut out South Mountain Thursday night, 4-0, on sophomore night at John D. Riggs Stadium.
Mesa took advantage of 15 Cougar fouls with Mesa having a dozen shots on the night. The T-Birds scored two goals in both the first and second halves, with Omar Molina making great plays in goal to secure the shutout.
Mesa moves to 7-8-2 overall on the season. The T-Birds now have two tough matches against Yavapai College and Pima, both road matches.
