Mesa, AZ - Benji Delgadillo worked his way into the box and found Manuel Lopez who netted the deciding goal in Mesa's 2-1 victory over Glendale Tuesday night.
The scoring started quickly for both sides as Glendale scored first in the opening minute. Carlos Madrigal then scored for Mesa in the fourth minute with an assist from Austin Rios.
On the afternoon, Glendale had 16 total shots to just seven Mesa shots but Benji Delgadillo worked his magic into the box, finding Manuel Lopez who scored his 8th goal of the season.
With the win, Mesa moves to 6-8-2 overall. The T-Birds will be at home on Thursday against South Mountain. It's sophomore night so come out and support the T-Birds. Men start at 4:30 p.m.
