Mesa, AZ- Led by Obedd Fuentes, who scored two of Mesa's three goals on the night, help beat Scottsdale 3-0 at home Tuesday night.
Fuentes knocked in the first Mesa goal with a beautiful header right past the Scottsdale goalkeeper at the 10:07 mark of the first half. Mesa received their second goal from Benjamin Delgadillo at the 31:21 mark of the first half off a penalty kick to give the T-Birds a 2-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, it was Fuentes again who knocked in the T-Birds third goal at the 64:18 mark.
Austin Wagner started at goal for Mesa and did a terrific job, holding the Artichokes scoreless for 90 minutes.
Mesa will be on the road on Thursday evening at Phoenix College, kickoff at 7 p.m.
