  PHOENIX, AZ - Ari Sanchez, pictured right, (So., Gilbert, AZ/Highland H.S.) had a goal and two assists to help lead the Mesa men's soccer team to a 4-1 win over GateWay at the Rose Mofford Complex Tuesday.

  The victory lifted the T-Birds to 3-1 on the season heading into a Thursday contest at Scottsdale at 5:30 p.m.

  Bryan Perea (Fr., Mesa, AZ/Mesa H.S.) added two goals and Matt Hall (Fr., Shreveport, La/Mountain Pointe H.S.) had the other.

  Julian Galvan (So., Mesa, AZ/Westwood H.S,) also had an assist and Sly Becerra (Fr., Mesa, AZ/Skyline H.S.). made four saves in goal.
