Glendale Tops Mesa, 2-1 in Men's Soccer

  GLENDALE, AZ - Luke Bunjovac (So.,Peoria, AZCentennial H.S.) scored Mesa's only goal on a penalty kick as the T-Birds fell to Glendale, 2-1, in men's soccer Thursday.

  The loss drops MCC to 9-6-2 on the season. The Gauchos have a 10-6-1 record.

  The T-Birds face a tough task Saturday as they host third-ranked Yavapai at 7:00 p.m. at John D. Riggs Stadium. Mesa battled the Roughriders to a 1-1 overtime tie earlier in the season.
