Men's golf finishes tenth at High Country Shootout

Ruidoso, N.M. – The Mesa men's golf team placed tenth at the High Country Shootout held Sept. 21-23 at The Links at Sierra Blana G.C.

The only NJCAA Division II school in the 11-team field, MCC shot a 54-hole 302-285-286—873, a nine-over par total.

The T-Birds were led by Trey Fessler with a four-under-par 75-68-69—212 which tied for 23^rd place in the 72-player field.

Ben Yehle tied for 44^th place with a 73-74-72—219 and Bosse Lensen tied for 52^nd place, carding a 79-71-73—223.

Mesa will be back in action Sept. 29-30 in the OUAZ Fall Invitational at the Eagles Nest G.C. in Goodyear, AZ.
