Men''s golf places second at Firestorm Invitational

  PHOENIX, AZ - The men's golf team began its 2014 Fall season by placing second at the Firestorm Invitational at the Stone Creek G.C.

  The T-Birds were seven shots behind South Mountain with a 292-293--585.

  MCC was led by Alex Trevino who placed fourth with a 71-75--146. One shot back was T.J. Kathrineberg at 75-72--147, while Alex Lobeck, Austin Fletcher and Brandon Carlson all had two-day totals of 148.

  Mesa next hosts the Longbow Fall Preview Sept. 27-29 at the Longbow G.C.
