Men's golf ranked co-No. 1 in pre-season poll

  ORLANDO, Fla. - The Mesa men's golf team, which finished second in the nation at the NJCAA Division II national championship in a tight battle with Walters St., has been ranked as the co-No. 1 team in the nation with WSCC in the pre-season poill of the Golf Coaches Association of America in its pre-season poll.

  Both team received 70 points in the poll to easily out-distance South Mountain which was third with 56 points. 

  The T-Birds will play a three-tournament fall season beginning with the Firestorm Fall Invitational Aug. 30-Sept. 1 at the Stonecreek G.C. in Phoenix.
