Former football great will represent LSU at national championship game

  New Orleans, La. – Mesa football will be represented at the College Football Championship game tonight at the Superdome, but becuase he is a red-shirt it will keep Soni Fanua on the sidelines. He will be in uniform.

  The former two-time all-WSFL and all-ACCAC choice has been with the LSU Tigers all season but has been unable to play.

  The Salt Lake City native had a total of 114 tackles during his two years at MCC. In addition 26 tackles for losses and 4.5 sacks.
