NJCAA Honors Rathen Ricedorff with National Offensive Player of the Week

The NJCAA has announced Rathen Ricedorff as the National Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against #1 Snow College.

Against Snow, Ricedorff threw for 292 yards on 18-34 passing, with three touchdowns, the longest going for 87 yards.  Ricedorff also ran for 45 yards on 10 carries.  

Ricedorff also earned Western States Football League offensive player of the week, the third time the sophomore quarterback has earned that distinction.

On the season, Ricedorff has 10 touchdown passes on 67-115 for 954 yards while also rushing for an additional 81 yards.

For the Mesa Thunderbirds football, this is the first National Player of the Week since October of 2014.
