Former T-Bird Kaler Ray takes conference honor in North Dakota

  MESA, AZ - It's benn two years since Kaler Ray was a part of the Mesa football program, but the Glendale, AZ native is now making his mark at Dickinson (ND) State where he was named North Star Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week last week.

  Ray led the Blue Hawks to a 42-35 win over Presentation by passing for 175 yards, including a TD, and rushing for 76 yards and scoring four touchdowns in the conference Game of the Week.

  For the season he has passed for 1076 yards and nine touchdowns and run for 308 more and added an additional six TDs.

  Dickinson is 5-4. Ray is just a sophomore and has a big future with the Blue Hawks.
