Carter Robinson Earns NJCAA DII 1st Team All-American Honors

It's only fitting that Carter Robinson leave with one more award from the 2019 season as he has earned NJCAA DII 1st Team All-American honors for his incredible pitching performances during his sophomore season at Mesa.

The University of Louisania Lafayatte commit had a 9-3 record on the season, throwing seven complete games with three shutouts, tossing 112 total innings, which was the most in the NJCAA this season.  He threw a second-best 126 strikeouts, which was 10.13 strikeouts per nine innings.

Robinson led the T-Birds through an incredible post-season which was capped off with a World Series game appearance in Enid, OK.  Robinson was 3-0 in the post-season, with all three wins coming as complete games.  He earned 1st Team Region I / ACCAC, Region I DII Player of the Tournament and NJCAA Pitcher of the Tournament.  He earned ACCAC DII Pitcher of the Week twice during the season while earning NJCAA DII Pitcher of the Week on the final week of the award.
