Stagnant Bats Doom Mesa Baseball in 8-6 Loss to Gateway

Mesa, AZ - The Mesa Thunderbirds baseball team lost Saturday afternoon to the Gateway Geckos, 8-6.

The T-Birds just couldn't get into a rythym offensively and thanks to six Gateway errors, Mesa was able to score three of its runs off errant throws.  

Mesa splits this weekend series with Gateway and now looks to next week when they play at home Tuesday against Chandler-Gilbert then at CGCC on Wednesday, both 3 pm start times.  Then they are home against Paradise Valley on Friday with a 3 pm start time and at Paradise Valley on Saturday, with a noon start.
