Paradise Valley, AZ - The #10 Mesa Thunderbirds baseball team split a two game series with Paradise Valley on Friday and Saturday, winning big on Friday, 14-8 but dropping Saturday's contest, 6-3.
With the victory on Friday, Mesa solidified a spot in the ACCAC DII playoffs. Their seed is still up in the air and will be determined with their final four games of the season.
The most important games will be the final two games of the season against Phoenix College, with both teams clawing for the top seed.
Mesa will play Scottsdale on Tuesday and Wednesday then at Phoenix College on Friday at 3 pm. The season finale will be on Saturday at MCC at noon.
