Mesa, AZ- #8Mesa finished their final regular season home game with a 10-3 victory over Phoenix College Friday afternoon. 

Mesa was led by catcher Mike Roberson who went 2-3 with three RBI's.  Both singles were to left field and each scored runs for the Birds.

Kent Hasler pitched six innings, allowing three hits while striking out nine.  Hasler finished the regular season with 92 total strikeouts, placing him fourth in the country in strikeouts. 

Mesa is now 39-15 overall and 25-14 in the ACCAC.  The T-Birds finished 27-7 at home this season, winning their last six, all against ACCAC opponents.

The T-Birds finish the regular season tomorrow at Phoenix College at noon.  Depending on the results of the Gateway/Scottsdale and Mesa/Phoenix game will determine the #1 and #2 seeds in the ACCAC DII Region Playoffs, starting March 5th.
