Mesa, AZ- The T-Birds split two games with the Pima Aztecs in Mesa, 6-5 win in game one for Mesa then 9-6 loss in game two.
Mitchell Morimoto went 2-3 with a triple in game one. Kody Funderburk pitched five innings, allowing three hits and one run. He struck out three while allowing one walk.
The T-Birds dropped the second game 9-6. It's the second loss of the season for the T-Birds, moving their record now to 14-2 overall with a 5-1 record in the ACCAC.
Mesa will play at Paradise Valley on Tuesday then at home Wednesday against Paradise Valley at 3 p.m.
